Get Rid of That Winter Fat
How to Get Rid of Weight Gained in Winter
Unwanted weight gain due to binge eating and lazing around the house most days is typical in winter. While most people wait for winter to end before trying to burn off the weight that has been gained, the best time to start would be now. Losing weight does not happen overnight, and if you wait until winter is over before starting your diet, you may not have enough time to lose all the weight before that December beach holiday.
When it comes to burning fat, there are four critical steps to follow.
Step 1 - Calculate your TDEE
Your TDEE (Total Daily Energy Expenditure) simply put, is an estimate of how many calories your body burns a day (Calculate your TDEE here). Knowing your TDEE is one of the most essential parts for weight loss, as it will help you decide on how many calories you should eat to lose weight.
Step 2 - Work Out Your Calorie Deficit
Once you know your TDEE, you now need to work out how many calories you should be consuming on a daily basis. A healthy calorie deficit should be no more than 500 calories below your TDEE. If your TDEE is 2000, then you should be eating around 1500 calories worth of food a day to lose weight.
Step 3 - Find a Diet that you can stick to
There are thousands of different diets available online and many different theories on what kind of diet works best. It is important to remember that everyone is different, some people find it easy to stick to certain diets while others don't. You need to find a diet that you can commit to and stay on for an extended period.
Although there are many different ideas to what diet works best for weight loss, a common factor in most successful diets is eating fewer carbohydrates than what you would normally.
Step 4 - Exercise
Sign up at a gym if you are not already a member of one. Exercise and diet go hand-in-hand when it comes to weight loss. High-intensity training is the most effective style of training for burning large amounts of calories. Aim to hit the gym 4 to 5 times a week, each workout should last around an hour.
Although fat burners can also play an essential role in weight loss, you also need proper diet and training and cannot only rely on fat burners for results. Weight loss supplements can be of great help when it comes to burning fat. They help speed up the metabolism which helps your body burn more calories which leads to faster weight loss. When choosing a fat burner, you want one that contains ingredients proven to speed up the metabolism and boost weight loss (View our Fat Burner Here)
